Milberg, an Emmy-winning journalist who joined Local 10 in 1999 and began working in broadcast news in 1987, hosts “This Week in South Florida,” South Florida’s most-watched public affairs program. She has covered elections and major stories across South Florida and around the world, and is so good at what she does, even the left-wing, Israel-bashing Miami New Times named her South Florida’s Best TV Reporter.
Her fearless approach was on display Sunday as she gave a masterclass in how to handle anti-Israel ideologues spreading falsehoods about the Jewish state—no small thing in South Florida, home to one of the nation’s most politically engaged Jewish communities. It’s a congressional district where Jewish pro-Israel voters, despite being a major constituency, are being denigrated and stigmatized on a daily basis by insurgent DSA Democrats like Larkin and right-wing Neo-Nazis like self-identified Republicans James Fishback and Dan Bilzerian.
