Statements by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on television "First TV"" in Belgrade, regarding the visit of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti to Paris, have been widely amplified by pro-Kremlin media and social networks, presenting them as self-evident facts, without independent verification.

A day before the meeting of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti with French President Emmanuel Macron on March 27, 2026, Vučić claimed that Kurti had gone to Paris with "two demands": that Serbia be conditioned to never use weapons against Albanians and that NATO leave the land security zone, so that the Kosovo Security Force can be deployed in the north of the country.

Vučić claimed that he learned about "Kurti's agenda in Paris" through "our people in Kurti's circle."

Among other things, Vučić said that he hopes that NATO "will not support these demands and I am sure that Macron will not support them either."

These claims by the Serbian president were immediately rejected by the spokesman for the Kosovo Government, Arlind Manjhuka. He has said that the statements of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, are part of a special and hybrid war against Kosovo.

According to Manjhuka, Vučić's goal was to draw media attention to his statements rather than to Kosovo's diplomatic developments.
