And the Nebraska arbitration is not the end—it is the latest in a continuing current of litigation over control of college sports economics that shows no signs of slowing.

To prevail on a hostile work environment claim under Title VII, a plaintiff must show that the workplace was “permeated with discriminatory intimidation, ridicule and insult” that was severe or pervasive enough to alter the conditions of employment. That is not an easy standard to meet on a good day.
