DALTON — Former Dalton Fire Chief Chris Tobin has filed a wrongful termination and whistleblower lawsuit against the town's fire district.
According to the lawsuit, filed on May 14 in Berkshire County Superior Court, Tobin is suing members of the fire district and town officials in connection with the board’s decision to terminate his contract as fire chief through the use of threats, unequal standards, collusion and "adverse employment actions.
