In a Truth Social post on Saturday, Dec. 3, the former President asked supporters about his false claims of voter fraud: “Do you throw the Presidential Election Results of 2020 OUT and declare the RIGHTFUL WINNER, or do you have a NEW ELECTION?”
He added: “A Massive Fraud of this type and magnitude allows for the termination of all rules, regulations, and articles, even those found in the Constitution.”
Apart from the usual bloviating by the perennial sore loser, this post allows us to glimpse what’s going on inside his damaged mind. First, it is a well-established fact that the 2020 election was free from fraud, apart from singleton voters who attempted to vote fraudulently. And further to the point are the attempts to subvert several election officials to change votes or throw ballots out to change the vote totals to his favor. He KNEW he was losing but wanted a win anyway, no matter the cost.
Therefore, it shouldn’t be a surprise that in all his flailing around in the past two years, he’s finally stumbled upon the ultimate solution: throw out the Constitution and appoint him President for Life.
