President Trump’s nonstop White House makeover took a partisan turn this week in the form of new plaques underneath a series of presidential portraits complete with insults and false claims against his political foes.
The new plaques were installed under the pictures that make up Trump’s so-called “Presidential Wall of Fame.” Trump unveiled the portrait display along the West Wing colonnade back in September; it features black-and-white images of himself and former US presidents displayed in chronological order and set in thick gold frames.
The display includes a framed image of an autopen signing former president Joe Biden’s name instead of a portrait.
