KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) has remanded three individuals, including a former manager of a frozen food company, for allegedly submitting false claims amounting to RM51,000.

Senior Assistant Registrar Yuhanis Mohd Roslan issued the remand order following an application by the MACC at the Kuala Terengganu magistrate's court today.

The male suspect was remanded for four days until July 30, while the two female suspects were remanded for three days until July 29.

Sources said the suspects, aged in their 20s and 30s, were arrested at 2pm yesterday after giving their statements at the state MACC headquarters.

"Initial investigations revealed the three suspects are believed to have colluded in committing the offence between May and June 2023.
