The National Labor Relations Board Friday vacated its unfair labor practice ruling against Time Warner Cable New York City LLC because the company settled its underlying dispute with a union.
The NLRB’s 2018 decision that Time Warner Cable unlawfully interrogated workers involved in a work stoppage that wasn’t protected by labor law was previously thrown out in a court challenge. The US Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit held in 2020 that the board used a defective legal standard when it ruled against the company.
