Dover, DE – The Delaware Department of Correction today announced that a work release absconder from the Plummer Community Corrections Center in Wilmington has been apprehended in North Carolina thanks to a tip received by Delaware Crime Stoppers.
On May 8, 2023, Kendal Seth failed to return from an approved work pass to the Plummer Community Corrections Center. Click here to read DOC’s absconder announcement. As part of the effort to locate and apprehend the offender, Plummer Community Corrections Center enlisted the assistance of Delaware Crime Stoppers which worked with investigators to initiate supplemental paid social media outreach targeted to an area in North Carolina frequented by the absconder. That social media outreach triggered a tip to Delaware Crime Stoppers from a North Carolina resident. The information received was shared with local law enforcement and on June 8, 2023 Kendal Seth was located by the Kinston Police Department in North Carolina and taken into custody.
