Tooth or dare: Jake Cuenca mulls legal action over false claims about his teeth - Inquirer.net

Jake Cuenca wasted no time denying biting allegations that he underwent a cosmetic dentistry procedure and had veneers done, with plans to take legal action against those who are making false accusations about his teeth.

Cuenca stressed that his teeth are “110% natural” in an interview with CinemaBravo on its YouTube channel on Thursday, June 26, saying the improvement of his teeth might have something to do with him not smoking for 10 years and entering his fourth year of sobriety.

“It’s not true talaga eh. Actually, I wanted to clarify this. I’ve been quiet about it, but my teeth are 110% my natural teeth. I have never worn braces in my entire life. For me, I understand that they improved through the years,” he said.

“I used to smoke two packs a day of cigarettes, so my teeth weren’t in the best place back then. I haven’t been smoking anymore. It’s been 10 years. It’s been four years of sobriety,” he continued.

While Cuenca said his teeth might have sparked speculations on social media, he challenged media outlets and netizens to “bring a licensed dentist” to prove that their allegations are true.

“I appreciate being talked about. I do appreciate this moment. But I challenge any media outlet, especially to the people who are making content about it, because it’s so unfair. It’s like you’re making false content? I challenge any of them to bring a licensed dentist, check my teeth, but if I’m right, I’m gonna take legal action at this point,” he said.
