Dr Sean Kirkpatrick has been the face of the Pentagon's testimony on UFOS, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Mail reports a decision has already been made after "four major candidates" were interviewed to come in and take over as head of the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

"Given their public affairs track record they may not put out anything to the press until well after the change, but who knows? They might surprise us," an ex-official said to be familiar with UAP investigation programs in the Pentagon told the news outlet.

This week, former intelligence officer David Grusch publicly accused Kirkpatrick of lying about Pentagon investigations. Kirkpatrick has already called Grusch's testimony - made to the same House Oversight Committee he spoke to - as "insulting."

An attorney helping whistleblowers working with Grusch said they "don't trust and never did trust Sean" - the whistleblowers reportedly include current and former intelligence community members and Department of Defence (DoD) personnel.
