Carney suggests Poilievre remove his 'fingers from his ears' when it comes to Canadian auto workers
During question period Tuesday, Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre asked Prime Minister Mark Carney why the Liberal government is subsidizing foreign-made electric vehicles rather than cutting taxes on domestic vehicle production. Carney implored Poilievre to listen to Ontario Premier Doug Ford and the head of the Auto Manufacturing Association who, he says, know his government's investments are positive for the sector.
