Trans woman admitted false rape claims which sparked major police probes - London Now

A trans woman who made repeated false rape allegations against men over a seven-year period has been jailed.

Khloe Simmonds, 26, was sentenced to seven and a half years for eight counts of perverting the course of justice after making false claims of sexual assault between 2018 and 2026.

Harrow Crown Court heard today (September 7) that Simmonds spent hundreds of hours with police officers, fabricating accounts of serious sexual violence and presenting herself as a victim.

Simmonds is a pre-operative trans woman, the court heard, and was referred to using female pronouns throughout the hearing.

At the height of her offending, Simmonds was responsible for 2.5 per cent of all rape and serious sexual assault allegations in Harrow.

His Honour Judge John Lodge said: "You repeatedly made false allegations of rape between July 2018 and January 2026.

"This was a sustained pattern of conduct, not isolated incidents."

The judge said Simmonds’ actions diverted resources away from 'genuine victims of serious crime'.

Several of the men accused were arrested and detained before being released.

In one case, a man spent 88 days under police investigation.

In another incident, Simmonds accused a chef she met on Grindr of rape after he left her flat.

He described the arrest as 'humiliating' and said he spent 20 hours at the police station.
