A jury must decide whether the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections sexually harassed a transgender officer and forced him to quit, a federal judge ruled.
John Doe can also take to trial his sexual harassment and constructive discharge claims under the Equal Protection Clause against two of the eight individual defendants he sued, the US District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania said. According to Doe, when he corrected a fellow officer for misgendering him, the officer responded crudely that Doe still had female sexual anatomy.
