Travis Kelce Clears Stance on False $3.3M Claims as NFL Power Couple Avoids Spotlight - EssentiallySports

Travis Kelce has always been more than the Chiefs’ star TE. Since 2015, Kelce has been quietly putting in the community work in Kansas City, where he has been playing since the beginning of his career. And also in his hometown, Cleveland. So when an NGO Foster Love mentioned Kelce’s name in a story last month, Kelce felt the need to address it. Last month, the NGO reported that Kelce had purchased a $3.3 million home and that the Chiefs star was planning to turn it into a living facility for homeless youth, as per Sports Illustrated. So, as soon as the report made it to Travis, he “set the record straight.” On Wednesday, on the latest episode of the New Heights podcast, along with his brother, the star TE addressed the claims made by Foster Love.

He did not call them out directly but did clarify that these are false claims. “Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not.
