Türkiye calls Hamas training claims ‘black propaganda’ after Israeli report - Türkiye Today

The center, known as DMM, said in a statement on its social media account that claims circulating in some media outlets and on social media did not reflect the truth.
The denial came after Israel’s public broadcaster KAN News reported Thursday that Hamas members had been conducting training in areas of Türkiye.

DMM said the claim that “various groups were given weapons and UAV training in Türkiye” was false.

It said the content aimed to escalate tensions in the region, disrupt Türkiye’s support for Palestine’s cause and manipulate international public opinion.
“Such posts, whose source is clearly known, are futile attempts aimed at escalating tension in the region, disrupting Türkiye’s support for Palestine’s just cause and manipulating international public opinion,” DMM said.
The center also urged the public not to give credit to what it called false claims intended to mislead.
