President Donald Trump is endorsing Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan's U.S. Senate race Wednesday while repeating false claims about election fraud in Wayne County in a post on Truth Social.
Trump urged voters to support Rogers in November and alleged Wayne County is corrupt and that fraudulent mail ballots could affect the election.
There is no evidence supporting Trump's claims. Courts, election officials and post-election reviews have repeatedly found no evidence of widespread fraud that changed the outcome of Michigan elections.
Rogers won the Republican nomination Tuesday and will face Democrat Abdul El-Sayed in the Nov. 3 general election.
