Donald Trump appears to be making false claims about his TikTok following, alleging that he’s the number one person on the app, ahead of even Taylor Swift.
The President of the United States made the claims during a press conference at the White House on Monday (July 6) while being asked about China’s involvement in the app.
“It was announced about two days ago, the new numbers just came out, you know who the number one person in Tic Tac is by far?” Trump said while misnaming the app.
He continued, “Trump, me. I’m number one… Taylor Swift was number eleven. I’m number one on TikTok by far.
