The “false statement” released by CNN was “linked” to a fake Nigerian news site, according to President Trump on Truth Social. The official White House Rapid Response account posted a screenshot of the statement that read “Iran claims victory” following the ceasefire. In response to CNN reporting on Iran’s alleged statement, Trump announced “authorities” will be looking into the network’s reporting.
