TTP Leader Surfaces Alive, Exposes Pakistan Armys False Claims Of His Elimination - Zee News

Pakistan's military just got exposed, badly. Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan chief Noor Wali Mehsud, whom Islamabad claimed was killed in a Kabul blast on October 9, has resurfaced in a video that blows apart Pakistan's entire narrative. The notorious terrorist isn't dead. He's very much alive. And he's calling out the Pakistani army for running a disinformation operation.

Emerging from an undisclosed location within Pakistan, the TTP chief accused Pakistan's army of deliberately spreading false information about his death to deceive Pakistani citizens and the international community. He called it a calculated propaganda campaign designed to create the illusion that Pakistan is winning against terrorism when the reality on the ground tells a completely different story.

In the purported video, Mehsud claimed he has visual evidence showing TTP's control over significant territories within Pakistan itself.

Who Is Noor Wali Mehsud?

Noor Wali Mehsud, who assumed leadership of the TTP in 2018 after the deaths of his predecessors in US drone strikes, has since revived and reorganized the terror outfit, uniting splintered factions and reigniting the insurgency. Under his leadership, terror attacks across Pakistan, particularly in the northwestern tribal belt bordering Afghanistan, have sharply increased.
