Tyson Manager to Get Trial on Need for Six-Day, 70-Hour Workweek - Bloomberg Law

Tyson Fresh Meat Inc. may have discriminated against a former production supervisor by failing to grant her a “normalized schedule” as an accommodation for her anxiety disorder, a Nashville federal judge ruled.

A jury could agree with Jacquelyn Veith that working “a six day, 70-80 hour week” wasn’t an essential function of her position, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee said.
