The United Arab Emirates has firmly dismissed reports alleging that $3 billion was transferred to Iran, describing the claims as inaccurate and without any factual basis.
In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said reports published by certain international media outlets were “entirely false and unfounded”. The ministry emphasised that no frozen Iranian funds have been released, transferred, or facilitated through the UAE.
Addressing the allegations, the ministry reiterated that there had been no movement of Iranian assets through the country and rejected suggestions that any such financial transaction had taken place.
