(NewsNation) — The continued push for UFO disclosure has a former Pentagon UFO researcher feeling the greatest cover-up in American history is being shattered.
Luis Elizondo’s comments follow lawmakers and UAP whistleblower David Grusch calling on the White House to give whistleblowers immunity during a gathering at the U.S. Capitol on Tuesday. The group also called for the release of files related to alleged encounters with nonhuman beings and information regarding extraterrestrial life.
“He has testified before, for the record, David Grusch, about the existence of non-human intelligence,” Elizondo said during a Tuesday “CUOMO” appearance, citing his previous working relationship with Grusch at U.S. Space Force and the access they were both given.
He added the latest step taken by lawmakers adds more to the national conversation about disclosure.
“I think it’s finally resonating with the American people, and they’re finally waking up to the fact that the government has been lying to us,” Elizondo said.
During the gathering, Grusch highlighted the government’s knowledge of foreign adversary intelligence. The whistleblower said he was apprised of foreign adversary UAP crash retrieval, exploitation and study efforts.
