The U.S. government has been accused of hiding "alien bodies" by a UFO whistleblower. On Friday, members of Congress took part in a secret UFO briefing where questions were asked on the existence of extraterrestrials and what knowledge the government has of alien life and technology.
However, after the briefing, there is still uncertainty on the depth of the government's knowledge on the topic of alien life. Thomas A. Monheim, who is the inspector general of the intelligence community, discussed topics related to extraterrestrials with members of the House Oversight Committee.
Last June, David Grusch, a former US Air Force intelligence officer, testified in front of Congress that the US government was harboring the remains of nine extraterrestrials. Grusch also claimed that the military was covering up a "UAP crash retrieval and reserve engineering program."

Grusch said that people with knowledge of the reverse engineering program, which was created to attempt to glean technological knowledge from the advanced alien species, were threatened or injured so that they would not reveal military secrets. The Pentagon has denied the allegations.
