VLADIMIR Putin wants "only death and destruction” as Russian forces targeted infrastructure sites in Kyiv with early morning airstrikes.
Several reports of Russian strikes on critical infrastructure across Ukraine have emerged this morning, including the capital Kyiv, as Vladimir Putin continues to double down on the Ukraine war.
A Ukrainian foreign ministry spokesman wrote on Twitter: “Morning starts with air defence sirens all across Ukraine. Russian missiles hit energy infrastructure in Kyiv and other cities, causing electricity and water outages,”
“Russia is not interested in peace talks, nor in global food security. Putin’s only goal is death and destruction.”

Russia's wave of missile strikes this morning destroyed 18 critical infrastructure sites across 10 regions, the Ukrainian prime minister said.
"Russian terrorists have again massively attacked Ukraine," Denys Shmyhal said.
"They are not targeting military bases but critical and civilian infrastructure sites."
A Russian missile has landed in the village of Naslavcea after it was shot down by Ukrainian air defence.
