The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine says Russian claims about the capture of Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast are false and primarily aimed at foreign partners.

Quote: "The senior political leadership of the aggressor state is once again resorting to spreading fake statements about significant 'successes' of the Russian army on the battlefield. In reality, the Kremlin's reports about the capture of the cities of Huliaipole and Myrnohrad are not supported by facts.
The situation in Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia Oblast is difficult, but the defensive operation in the settlement is ongoing. Ukrainian soldiers are continuing to actively wipe out the invaders' infantry groups in the city.
The operational situation in Myrnohrad also remains difficult, but enemy units, as before, have failed to realise their plans to capture the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad agglomeration, so they are resorting to using the weapon of disinformation."
Details: The General Staff stressed that claims about control over half of the city of Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast are also fabricated.
