Unfair labor charges dropped between University of Michigan, striking grad workers - MLive.com

ANN ARBOR, MI - The graduate instructor union and University of Michigan agreed to drop all pending unfair labor practice charges filed against each other in a settlement announced June 8.

All but one of the charges filed in late March in the Michigan Employment Relations Commission were dropped, according to Thursday releases by the university and Graduate Employees Organization. A judge acting on behalf of the commission ruled April 18 that the union violated a no-strike clause in the since-expired contract, and university officials said that decision stands.
