United Urges Calif. Judge To Ground Pilot Pay Stub Suit - Law360

By Grace Elletson (April 28, 2022, 4:10 PM EDT) -- United Airlines told a California federal judge that it should reject a pair of pilots' request for a win in their suit alleging the company failed to provide statements detailing their hourly wages and hours worked, arguing that pilots are not paid at an hourly rate. Instead, United Airlines Inc. said Wednesday that the judge should grant the airline's request for summary judgment to end the long-running suit that has bounced from appellate court to the California Supreme Court and is now back in federal court. United said Charles E. Ward and Bruce Richards' suit fails because pilots' pay is calculated. . .
