Unpaid Lebanon Amazon delivery drivers' legal rights explained - WZTV

LEBANON, Tenn. (WZTV) — As drivers delivering Amazon packages fight to get their last paycheck, an employment attorney explains what their legal rights are.

More than 50 people worked for "Pave it Forward Logistics," an Amazon delivery service partner in Lebanon, Tennessee. However, on March 31st, 2026, the drivers were told they had no more routes.

Following the company's sudden closure, the workers expected to get paid for their final week of work.

They told FOX 17 News they are still waiting two weeks later and are planning to sue.

The owner of the company said he does not plan to pay the workers since he does not have the money to do so, blaming Amazon.

We plan to ask the employment attorney these three questions:

  • How much notice does an employer with more than 50 workers have to give them if they plan to close?
  • If the workers aren't paid their last paycheck, how much time does the employer have to give it to them after their business closes?
  • If the company is a delivery service partner with Amazon what is Amazon's responsibility in ensuring workers are paid?
