During an appearance on Fox News, U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) said that he isn’t concerned if an FBI document concerning an alleged bribery scheme involving President Joe Biden is accurate or not.
“We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against Vice President Biden are accurate or not,” the senator from Iowa said. “We’re responsible for making sure the FBI does its job and that’s what we want to know.”

Republicans were supposedly made aware about the document’s existence by a whistleblower leading to the House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) issuing a subpoena for the document. The FBI has confirmed its existence but refused to make it public in fear of compromising the investigation.
Grassley has apparently read the document though, and he simply said that there are “accusations in it.” He also said that it isn’t for him to make judgments about whether the document is accurate or not but to make sure that the FBI ”does its job,” which for Grassley likely means criminal charges against Biden.
