VA Allowed to Fire Doctor Owed Whistleblower Protections (1) - Bloomberg Law

The Department of Veterans Affairs was justified in firing a Texas physician who sought whistleblower protections after she complained to senior officials about not receiving a promotion, a federal circuit court panel decided Friday.

Neena Biswas argued the VA violated the Whistleblower Protection Act when officials directed her to bring her complaints about being turned down for a job to her supervisors, not higher-level personnel.
