President Joe Biden’s Covid-19 vaccination mandate for federal workers can’t be challenged in court because the Civil Service Reform Act removed jurisdiction to hear certain actions involving federal employment, the Fourth Circuit ruled Tuesday.
Israel Rydie, a Defense Information Systems Agency employee, and Elizabeth Fleming, a Food and Drug Administration employee, claimed the mandate is unconstitutional for forcing them to choose between their employment and being vaccinated.
