A video purportedly showing National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval threatening to release nude photographs and videos of Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka is being widely shared on social media.
In the viral clip, Doval can allegedly be heard saying that the two CJP leaders were released from detention after their private photographs and videos were taken. He purportedly threatens to make the material public if they participate in another protest against the government.
The video is being circulated in the backdrop of recent demonstrations by CJP supporters in Delhi and the subsequent detention and release of Das and Ranka.
A Facebook user posted the viral post with the following caption:
We let CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka go, but took nude photos and videos of them. If they protest again, we’ll release the footage online. They don’t understand the cost of defying the government.
