Victorian WFH laws could spark remote work right contagion - AFR

Victoria’s proposed work-from-home legislation is likely to be used as a legal weapon by workers in other states to force their bosses to grant similar rights to remote work, warn employment lawyers.

The Victorian law – due to come into force on September 1 this year for large employers and on July 1, 2027, for small businesses – will give millions of Victorians the statutory right to work from home for two days a week.
