Walmart Workers Win Class Status for Covid-Screening Pay Claims - Bloomberg Law

Walmart workers who say the superstore stiffed them on pay related to Covid-19 screenings won permission to move forward with their Arizona wage-and-hour suit as a class of nearly 80,000 people.

The workers demonstrated that a class action is the appropriate way to resolve their allegations that Walmart Inc. and Wal-Mart Associates Inc. failed to pay them for work time after they completed pandemic-related health screenings but before they clocked in for their shifts, the US District Court for the District of Arizona said.
