According to Snopes, the story gained huge traction specifically following a YouTube video titled ‘Airport Staff Kicked Out Sasha Obama, But Regretted Everything When Her Father Barack Arrived’ was uploaded which garnered around 900,000 views. The video actually suggested that the airport staff eventually became suspicious of Sasha Obama's expensive business class ticket because she is a Black woman and that her father, former US President Barack Obama eventually intervened to resolve the situation.

However, this narrative has been totally debunked as entirely ‘False’, asserted Snopes. A thorough search of news sources finally revealed no credible reports of such an incident occurring at the airport.

The video was actually created by the ‘Beneath the Mask’ channel which at the same time has a history of producing fabricated stories involving prominent Black figures. The creator of the video reportedly used artificial intelligence to generate images and scripts while further indicates its lack of authenticity.
