We will take action against employment law breaches, CSP warns employers - The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy

With CSP support, Susheel brought a claim against his employer through Thompsons Solicitors for being consistently underemployed and underpaid throughout his employment.

In May the Tribunal found all of Susheel’s claims to be well-founded and ordered 1PhysioUK Limited to pay him 17,920.39 in damages for breach of contract, 93.43 for unlawful deductions, and 2,023.40 for unpaid holiday pay.

CSP senior negotiating officer James Allen, who was part of the team who supported Susheel, said:

Whilst fortunately cases like this are rare, the CSP is able to support members facing challenging times with their employers.

'I was able to have a number of meetings with Mr Asher so we could discuss his concerns and support him, as well as highlight that the way he was being treated was not acceptable and provide advice on the next steps.’
