Wells Fargo Bank NA failed to shake off claims that it retaliated against an employee by reducing the accounts she handled after she complained to the CEO of race, sex, and age discrimination.
Plaintiff Adrienne Boone alleges that reducing her accounts was an adverse employment action in violation of Title VII, 42 U.S.C. § 1981, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act because it made her ineligible for a promotion.
The allegations are sufficient to survive Wells Fargo’s motion to dismiss, Judge William L. Osteen Jr., of the US District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina ruled. ...
