Wells Fargo lost its bid to toss telephone bankers’ wage-and-hour suit after a federal judge in California said the workers alleged state labor law violations with “sufficient specificity.”
Two telephone bankers accuse Wells Fargo & Co. and Wells Fargo Bank NA of making them work off-the-clock and during their scheduled breaks. The financial services company argued that the allegations weren’t specific enough to state plausible claims for relief, but the workers provided enough detail for now, the US District Court for the Northern District of California said.
