Wells Fargo & Co. reinstated diversity guidelines for hiring after an internal review sparked by accusations that the bank had conducted sham interviews for positions that were no longer available.
The San Francisco-based bank “completed a review of diverse candidate slate hiring approaches and interviewed Wells Fargo recruiters and hiring managers to determine what’s working and what’s not,” according to a statement Monday. “The company has also engaged a broader set of employees in listening sessions since mid-May.”
