JACKSON - The man who first uncovered the Mississippi welfare scandal testified in the trial of former wrestler Ted Dibiase Jr. this week.
David Barton, a former national guard colonel, served as the inspector general for the Mississippi Department of Human Services in 2019.

Prosecutors say Dibiase got 3.1 million dollars for doing nothing more complicated than a Google search for food pantries.
Lawyers for the wrestler say he did much more.
Testimony in the case continued today.
