A former Klein ISD teacher has filed a lawsuit for retaliation, claiming she was coerced into resigning just a month after reporting a disturbing sex trafficking case involving a student.

Desma Darden, a former special education teacher at Klein Cain High School, says she was forced to leave her position after exposing the illegal activities of another teacher’s son.

The Shocking Discovery

In February 2023, Darden discovered that a student had been solicited for sex trafficking and prostitution by the son of Keidra Grigsby, a cosmetology teacher at Klein Cain High School.

Darden claims that the teacher, herself, had been in communication with the student, which raised further red flags. Disturbed by the situation, Darden immediately reported her concerns to the school, expecting the matter to be handled...
