Mysuru, Dec 27 (UNI) In a dramatic escalation of his ongoing battle against alleged corruption in Karnataka, activist and whistleblower Snehamayi Krishna has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, urging for immediate intervention to ensure his safety.
The letter comes after Krishna raised serious concerns about threats to his life, following his revelations on the illegal allotment of 14 sites under the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA).
Krishna has claimed that his efforts to expose the misuse of authority have led to increasing pressure from political figures, including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who he accuses of attempting to block his work. Despite several appeals to the state government for protection, Krishna says he has been repeatedly denied adequate security.
In the letter to Modi and Shah, Krishna detailed his precarious situation: "Since I am fighting against the CM and other influential individuals, the state government is refusing to provide me with security. This demonstrates that government officials are attempting to hinder my efforts under the influence of CM Siddaramaiah."
Krishna expressed concern for his safety and that of his family, adding, "It seems that relying on state government security feels increasingly risky to myself and to my family. Therefore, I request that security be kindly provided by the central government to ensure protection of my life and the well-being of my family."
