WASHINGTON, D.C., September 1, 2026 – Millions of Americans could be disenfranchised in the new election ballot mail system being hastily implemented by the United States Postal Service (USPS), according to new, alarming revelations from a federal official with direct knowledge of the system’s potentially catastrophic outcomes.

WhistleblowerAid.org, which represents the anonymous whistleblower, filed a disclosure to Congress with these momentous allegations. At issue are three major changes to ballot mail processing that stem from President Donald Trump’s Executive Order 14399:

1. A rushed and under-tested new online Federal Ballot Mail Portal (“Portal”) in which election officials will need to upload new information as part of a never before used verification system;
   
2. A rushed and under-tested new IT system which would need to approve the numerous manifests of “mailings” (large batches of ballots of various sizes) by comparing these manifests against information uploaded by states to the Portal; and
