Whistleblower says Ghislaine Maxwell wants 'commutation application' according to Raskin - KABB

WASHINGTON (TNND) — Congressman Jamie Raskin, D-Md., said that a whistleblower informed his committee that Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell wants a “commutation application” and has been getting preferential treatment while being in jail.

Maxwell was an associate of disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking of minors.

Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking and other charges in connection with Epstein.

Raskin responded to the whistleblower’s claims by sending a letter to President Donald Trump, according to ABC News.

Raskin alleged the Trump administration allowed "a corrupt misuse of law-enforcement resources" in regard to Maxwell.

He also called on Deputy U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche testify before the Judiciary Committee in order to "answer for this corrupt misuse of law enforcement resources and potential exchange of favors for false testimony exonerating you and other Epstein accomplices."

Raskin and other Democrats sent a letter inquiring about Maxwell in August regarding her being transferred to a minimal security prison.

Maxwell is currently being held in a prison in Florida.

Earlier this month, Congressional Democrats requested that former Prince Andrew Mountbatten to be interviewed about his relationship with Epstein.

King Charles III recently announced that he was stripping Andrew of his royal titles.
