[OSEN=Kang Seo-jung Reporter] Controversy surrounding actor Lee Yi-kyung’s personal life remains unresolved. Whistleblower A has once again spoken directly, refusing to back down from their claims.
On the 17th, A stated via SNS, “I have sent DMs to Korean celebrities or influencers in the past, but this was the first time I received a direct reply,” adding, “Back then, I was simply curious.”
A continued, “The problematic exchange occurred in April of this year,” explaining, “From that point, I felt the conversation had clearly crossed a line. I requested a selfie, believing evidence confirming the person’s identity as the actor was necessary.”
A added, “I doubt he only replied to me,” stating, “I was contacted by others who also exchanged DMs. However, due to concerns about further harm, I did not disclose related details.”
Earlier, A had claimed the allegations were AI-generated content but later retracted the statement, fueling controversy. They emphasized, “Initially, I claimed it was AI-generated out of fear, but I’m clarifying the facts again: the content is true.”
In response, Lee’s agency has not issued an official statement but confirmed legal action against A is ongoing. The agency previously denied the claims as “completely untrue” and has requested a formal investigation.
Lee Yi-kyung has countered by claiming A, allegedly German, spread rumors about his private life, but the controversy shows no signs of abating.
