Objective
We needed to drive awareness of Medius as a provider of fraud prevention software among finance professionals, who are often an organisation’s first line of defence. We also wanted to demonstrate to finance professionals that Medius can help to provide the evidence necessary to report fraud and wrongdoing.
Strategy
Whistleblowers are the first line of defence against fraud. Fight or Flight and Medius wanted to highlight the challenge whistleblowers face in reporting fraud in the workplace. By campaigning to make it easier for whistleblowers to come forward we could also show how using evidence gathered through Medius software can give whistleblowers more confidence to report financial fraud.

Context
The brave actions of whistleblowers prevent billions of pounds of financial fraud and help to stop corporate wrongdoing. And yet whistleblowers are very often victimized and bullied simply for standing up for what’s right. Many lose their jobs and suffer mental health problems. Some even take their own lives. Recent cases in the UK at the Post Office and NHS show that despite their critical importance, whistleblowers are isolated and victimized.
