WILLINGBORO TWP. — A recently filed lawsuit against the township claims it has been failing to pay overtime wages to firefighters, violating New Jersey law.
Firefighter Michael Nardi, a department member since November 2022 according to the lawsuit, claims that firefighters “have routinely worked” more than the maximum of 40 hours per week. The department, which also uses volunteers, is part of city government.
