A NUISANCE woman who wasted police time with false allegations about neighbours and officers has been hit with a court order.
Tara Owen, 32, from The Tara, Whittington, near Worcester, was found guilty of causing wasteful employment of the police when she appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on Friday.
She has now been made subject to a three-year Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
Owen’s CBO follows an incident in February where she made a false report to police claiming an offence had been committed. She was fined 200 for the offence alongside the order being granted.
Owen’s CBO, which applies anywhere in England and Wales, lasts until 16 July 2029 and means she is prohibited from the following: contacting three named individuals; recording or filming any person, unless this action is agreed by the person being filmed or for a lawful purpose or through incidental capture.
