Worker Sues CSX, Claims He Was Fired for Reporting Harmful Safety Conditions | Daily Report - Law.com

CSX, the Florida-based railroad freight company, was hit with an employment lawsuit on Friday in Georgia Southern District Court. The suit was brought by Burge & Burge on behalf of Chase Russell Highsmith, who was allegedly terminated in retaliation for reporting hazardous safety conditions. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 5:22-cv-00052, Highsmith v. CSX Transportation Inc.
